Prayer Wall: Pursuing a Passion for Prayer

002

‘These I will bring to my Holy Mountain and give them joy in the house of prayer.’ Isaiah 56:7.

If you have a passion for prayer, do you ever find that your prayer list is rather overwhelming? Do you find that you are too busy to pray through every area of your prayer list each day? There are just so many needs out there, not to mention the needs of our own families. I have created a schedule for meal preparation and for housework, but what about organising our prayer lives? I have just started trialling a prayer schedule, breaking down my prayer list into different areas for each day of the week. Each week I can choose a different country and a different missionary or missions organisation to pray for on Missions Monday.

This verse sums up this year for our church as we have focussed on ‘A Year of Prayer’. It seems that God is calling His people to prayer. Below are some prayer ministry and other ministry resources.

‘Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.’ Phillipians 4:6
